To all who live a normal life

An ode to all who live a normal life:
You'll never find their stories in the news.
Their charts are not all up and to the right,
They give no thought to petty clicks or views.
They do what's asked and also do it well,
But not enough to win awards and all.
And that's ok as far as I can tell,
Because, to them, they have a higher call.
The nine-to-five is neither all nor vain.
They've friends and families calling them each day.
They've interests far beyond financial gain.
They've duties keeping their careers at bay.
So look around and thank them, from your heart,
'cause without them the whole world falls apart.
